Welcome to the twin seaside resorts of HuaHin and ChaAm Both these two popular seaside resort are located to the south of Bangkok on the Eastern Gulf coast , HuaHin in Prachap Khirik Khan and ChaAm in Phetchaburi Province. HuaHin is in fact the oldest beach resort of the country and is still as popular as ever. Having clean white sand , crystal clear water and a tranquil atmosphere, this resort continues to attract tourists in search of a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

The construction of a railway station here in the reign of King Rama VI (1910 - 1925) and summer palace of King Rama VII in 1926 transformed this quiet fishing village into a high society resort town for chosen by the Thai Royal Family. Even today the Royal Family continue to reside at Klai Kang Won Palace.

When HuaHin was booming , ChaAm was just unknown to the outsiders,but when eventually, people sought for a new place for relaxation. ChaAm's beauty was discovered and the resort quickly grew.

ChaAm is a popular lively resort town offering a large variety of accommodation, authentic cuisine and challenging activities including water sports ,horse riding and cycling riding along it's six Kilometer sandy white beach. Phra Nakhon Khiri Fair
 
Phra Nakhon Khiri, also known as Khao Wang, is an important historical site. During the reign of King Rama IV, it served as the king's out-of-town palace.
To celebrate Phetchaburi's cultural heritage-particular Phra Nakhon Khiri-the people of Phetchaburi hold the Phra Nakhon Khiri Fair regularly around the end of February at Khao Wang Compound.

The five-day fair presents a parade of people enacting the procession of monarchs who ruled Phetchaburi; during the Dvaravati and Srivijaya Periods. Apart from that, there are exhibitions on Phetchaburi's history and archaeological objects.

Cooking demonstrations on the provinces famous dishes and sweetmeats are among the main attractions of the fair. Also featured are various kinds of entertainment and contests.
